Public Transportation

The Nashville Campus is served by the Nashville MTA* and the closest location for pickup and drop-off is on the #7 Hillsboro route, at the corner of 21st Avenue and Piece, just east of the VA facility.

DAV Program

The Tennessee Valley Healthcare System offers free transportation to its medical center and healthcare centers from select areas of our region.  For more information, please contact our Voluntary Service Transportation Coordinator's Officer at 615-327-5363, Monday through Friday, during regular business hours, for more information.  Veterans can also check with the CBOC's for schedules in their area.  Spaces are limited. 

Directions from the North:

• I-65 S - Merge onto I-40 E / I-65 S via EXIT 84B toward MEMPHIS - 1.4 miles
• Take EXIT 209B toward US-70S / Broadway / US-431 / Demonbreun St - 0.2 miles
• Turn RIGHT onto Broadway / US-431 / US-70S / TN-1. 0.1 miles (Broadway becomes West End)
• Turn left onto 31st Ave turn left onto 24th Ave
• End at 1310 24th Ave South

Directions from the Southwest:

• I-65 North - Take the Wedgewood Ave exit via EXIT 81 0.1 miles
• Turn LEFT onto Wedgewood Ave - 1.5 miles Wedgewood Ave becomes Blakemore Ave - 0.2 miles
• Turn RIGHT onto 24th Ave S. 0.3 miles.
• End at 1310 24th Ave South

Directions from the East:

• I-40 W toward NASHVILLE.
• Keep LEFT to take I-40 W via EXIT 211A toward MEMPHIS - 1.0 miles
• Merge onto I-65 S via EXIT 210 B on the LEFT toward HUNTSVILLE - 0.9 miles
• Take the Wedgewood Ave exit- EXIT 81 - 0.2 miles
• Wedgewood Ave becomes Blakemore Ave - 0.2 miles
• Turn RIGHT onto 24TH AVE S - 0.3 miles.
• End at 1310 24th Ave South

Directions from the West:

• Merge onto I-40 E toward NASHVILLE - Merge onto I-440 E via EXIT 206 toward KNOXVILLE. - 1.1 miles
• Take the 21st Ave / US-431 N exit - EXIT 3 - 0.6 miles
• Left onto 21st Ave
• Left on Wedgewood/Blakemore
• Turn RIGHT onto 24TH Ave S - 0.3 miles
